the jammienator and clothesenator help robbie get ready in the morning. All he has to do is grab the corner of one item and his whole outfit comes down!

Here are a lot of different things...a slingshot, a magnifying glass and a bag of things to look at with it, a bag of weapons, etc.

The Big Big Fence Project!

One of this summer's projects was the backyard and new fence.

This may seem like a little project...but it was HUGE! They had to rip out a whole row of shoots and foliage, fill in a driveway full of dirt, do fence posts, level everything out, add top soil, and then put up a fence and put in sod!!! What a Huge accomplishment for these boys!

Uncle E earns a gold star for helping us everyday with this project...spending his last summer home at our house in the backyard!

For Mother's Day, Rob and the kids made a huge batch of MONSTER chocolate covered strawberries!

Earlier, I was invited to the kindergarten day spa. It was so fun (once I got there...story below!)
First, Robbie asked welcomed me to the mothers spa. Then he offered me a cold beverage (water). Then he took me to a table and pulled out my bag of tricks and proceeded to paint my nails, brush my hair, put makeup on me, give me a mini massage. It was the cutest thing on the planet! I had so much fun spending time with him!!

before the spa:
well, I was running a little late home from the gym...you know how that happens. I had just dropped the other kids off at a sitter, and I had about 5 minutes to run inside, change my clothes and pick up my bag that had all of the fun stuff they told us to bring to the spa. SO, I pulled in the garage and went straight up to the door to find it DEADBOLTED. I never carry house keys (well, now I do) so I had no way to get it. A realtor had shown it and had locked all the doors. I was panicked and called the realtor who was no help at all, so I did what any mom would do in a situation like that...I had my neighbor come and break the door. Yes, in that moment not another single option would come to mind! I had to have that bag for the spa because Robbie would be heart broken if I didnt! Desperate times call for desperate measures, right?

Robbie is Loving soccer this spring. He is playing as hard as he can, and really concentrating on the ball!
He told me he was doing some amazing moves...and he was!

Elle's "every-snack-in-the-pantry Trail Mix" was a huge hit at the game. She was proud to have made such a scrumptious blend of popcorn, goldfish, wheat thins, oreos, pretzels, triscuits, hershey kisses, half reeses eggs!

Today, Elle scrubbed the bathroom (floors, walls and bathtub) with hair mousse, after she and robbie did a science experiment outside with food coloring, soap and milk, before they peeled hardboiled eggs all over the kitchen....etc etc etc.

I need a live-in housecleaner. I cant pay a lot...but I will smile a lot when you are around to do the clean up :)

Cute Elle had her dance recital last week. It was so fun to see the little girls do their moves.

I was also happy to hear her preschool teacher tell me today how creative she is. She said they love to watch her paint and do art projects because she is so detailed.

Jane and the House Hunt

OK...here it is, the story you have all been waiting for. So, after a long week of house hunting, I took Jane to yet another home. Yeah, this home had a little girls room...so she went in there to look around, and I just let her play while I went to check out the rest of the home. (tsk tsk...I know as a realtor, I shouldnt do that...but desperate times...) A minute later I came up and found her sitting in the room surrounded by all the little girls toys! Jane, oh no, we need to clean this up!!! "pooh pooh" WHAT? Jane, what did you do? "pooh pooh" When I got closer to her, I noticed her pants were down. AHHH! But, when I got closer, I noticed she was sitting on a DOLL POTTY! She had pulled out a doll potty, and had pooped in it! It was so funny the realtor and I were laughing our heads off (at least it wasnt the carpet!)

I wish I could say she never looks like this...but, she has followed in Elle's footsteps and has her own way of putting on makeup, and getting dirty!

Even though we are a little early, we celebrated Jane's bday last night!
She was so proud of her shirt and showed it to everyone who came. She really could tell that this was HER party and she had fun playing, opening presents and eating cake!

American Girl Bistro & Boutique

For Elle's Birthday we headed up on a girls trip to the American Girl Store in Dallas.

Boy, what an adventure! We stayed overnight in a nearby hotel, and then spent a whole morning in the "Girls PARADISE." We couldnt believe how many people were there, in matching outfits with their dolls! We were lucky to find a doll that Elle wanted...her name is "Elizabeth" and she came in a pink princess dress!

The bistro was fun too! They have little seats for your dolls to sit next to you. Elle was disappointed that they didnt serve her doll fake food!

Jane was a handful! She went to bed really late and woke up really early, and all of the stimulation of the store brought out one of the less favorable sides of her personality! Luckily, she found a doll she wanted and was happy to get some food for lunch. She slept almost the whole way home too!

We kicked of Christmas Eve with the Annual Fondue Party. We had so much fun cooking and dipping and karaoke-ing!

Always one at a time in the morning...Robbie is learning it isnt always fun to be oldest! (last one down the stairs!)

Oh...what a surprise! Elle got make-up AGAIN! How crazy! Robbie got the batman wings he has been wanting for a couple weeks (when his WHOLE list changed in mid-december) He said if that Elves have already started working on the stuff he had previously asked for, they could pass it on to the Easter Bunny! Jane got a little of this and that...but the blow dryer that worked was a HUGE HIT!
